100% improvised musical event at subterranean Yogiga Expression Gallery in Hongdae, Seoul.
Feel welcome to bring instruments and join in. Uncommon, ethnic and orchestral instruments are particularly encouraged for comportment and aural diversity.
Hi-tech, noise and BPM-synced instruments are also recommended for contemporaneity and range.
If you don't have instruments, you can choose from the house instruments provided or just come and watch.
The Seoul Creative Musicians Circle maintains a non-exclusive and sympathetic playing environment. The session is open to all levels - all abilities welcome, no experience necessary.
- Large performance space
- Vocal microphones, instruments, drum kit and PA/amplification available
- Light refreshments provided
- Guests are welcome
Yogiga Jam (i) is not an open-mic night. It may be regarded as a contemporaneous collaborative performance for the benefit of participating musicians.
We will try to record the event as much as possible. If you have a digital or DV camera, it would be appreciated it you could contribute to recording the event.
